We have been working on squeezing clothes pins. This has taken some time for Adeline to achieve, but we are getting there. Today I created a matching game for her using a ribbon and clothes pins. Using a long ribbon I colored a section of the ribbon various colors. I used the same colors on the clothes pins. Adeline has to squeeze and match to the correct color.
I tied the ribbon between the legs of two chairs so that it would be the correct height.
This activity involves; matching, fine motor skills, and learning colors.
I love this idea! My 6yo with Kabuki Syndrome has extremely poor find motor skills/weak hands. She would think this was fun!
