Our Favorite Fine Motor Toys --Ages 1-3

Adeline is three and we have gone through quite a few toys.  I thought I would share some of our favorites for fine motor skills.

Please keep in mind that these suggestions are approximate.  Some child could use them a little sooner or later.

For around age One:

Around age two:

Around age three:

Some fine motor toys can have small parts so parent supervisor is important.

  1. The shapes puzzle sorter thingamabob in the around age 2? Where can I find one of those?

    1. Hi Danielle, I think this is what you are asking about.

      Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I love the idea of the stack and sort board ... I think it might have to mysteriously appear on our doorstep one of these days. ;)

  3. Thank thank you so much...this is really helpful...I have a question..My Amalia has what I call short attention span...If she is not interested she wont do it..Even when I speak to her she will not look at me...Her opthamologist says her eyesight is a perfect 20/20...I notice that when I show her, her bottle is will focust but anyother object she wont be interested. Did your daughter ever had short attention span? If, so how did you get her to focus or pay attention...If your answer is no, do you know any excersise to improve? Thank you.

  4. These are great. Your daughter is beautiful! I found you at Cheerios and Lattes.
