Review: The Old Schoolhouse Magazine

I will be honest, since I had Adeline I have not picked up many magazines.  I use to subscribe to many magazines and enjoy reading encouraging stories and looking at beautiful pictures.  I guess I lost taking time to do some of the things I enjoyed for myself personally.

Today I took some time for myself and downloaded the app to The Old Schoolhouse Magazine on my I Pad.  This online magazine is written for parent who homeschool with a Christian perspective.  I loved that this online magazine has an app and I could just sit on my couch and enjoy it.  The November issue was packed full of articles written by moms like me who are dealing with many of the same thing I am.  I was so refreshed and encouraged after reading a couple of articles.   I even enjoyed the adds because I learned about some new publishers.   I can't wait to check them out.  I know that if a product is advertised in The Old Schoolhouse Magazine that it is a solid product.

One article that stood out to me was written by Diane Craft; Where Do I Find The Time?  Homeschooling a Struggling Learner.  I have struggled finding time this year because I have two children with learning disabilities and two typical learners.  I always feel like I am not doing enough for my children that learn differently.  This article gave me some great ideas that I hope to implement soon.

The exciting thing about The Old Schoolhouse is that it is free.  You can download it on your I Pad or Kindle  or visit their website  http://thehomeschoolmagazine.com/.  I believe that you will be encouraged if you are a parent of a child homeschooled or not.
