Many concepts can be reinforced with matching and sorting. Today I created five different matching or sorting activities that practice different concepts.
Our first activity is Turkey matching or sorting shapes using milk caps.

The second activity is color matching snowman using pompoms.

The third is matching upper case letters to lower case letter snowflakes. I used foam circles so that I could write on them.

The fifth matching activity is matching buttons on a Christmas Tree.

Hope these learning activities make your holidays a little more fun.
Great activities! My three year old would love all of these.
ReplyDeleteAwesome activities, as usual! In addition to featuring your post at the Living Montessori NowFacebook page, I pinned it to my Kids' Christmas Activities Board at http://pinterest.com/debchitwood/kids-christmas-activities/

Thank you so much for sharing! Sorting and matching really are great for *so* many things. Fantastic post!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas. Is there a way to print these or did you just print images you found?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I did print them from the Childland Website. If you copy past the link I believe it will take you right there. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I was not able to paste the link, I kept getting an error. I did find out that these have moved to Childcareland.com under free printables. Thanks for the time you put into the ideas!
