Well Adeline is up and walking, such a relief to me. We are still working on a lot of gross motor skills, but now I am really thinking about speech as well. I have been reading about how valuable nursery rhymes and songs can be since they use more of the right side of the brain. Adeline is able to sing parts of songs and rhymes much easier than just talking. I thought she would enjoy interacting with some of the songs and rhymes, so I made a flannel board on the other side of our chalkboard.
I found these printables, laminated them and added some sandpaper to the back. Sandpaper is much cheaper than all the velcro it would take.
