The Learning Program

I love making books for Adeline.  This has helped her in both speech and reading.  I am so happy that books are one of her favorite things and she loves to read.

The other day I discovered an amzing find, the Down Syndrome Foundation of Orange County  has added many new books.  They could have done this awhile ago, I just have not been to their web site for awhile.  When Adeline was little I used some of their flash cards.  They now have many printable books.  They are great.  I stayed up very late printing up books.  Here are two that I have finished putting together.  Adeline is already reading them.

Here is the Pets Book;

The Learning Program has many more books available.  I am gratful for this foundation that has made these resources availble to download.

  3. Hi Sherrie, There is a tab labeled "learning Materials" click on that. You then need to register. After registering click on Literacy Materials and it will take to to an area that has green boxs. The first sections are flashcards the second is books using the words from the flashcards. Please let me know if you need more help.

  8. Depends on time/effort printer if it's worth it to buy. I bought all the see and learn stuff, I have downloaded a lot from the learning program but I would buy it during the school year when I'm too busy to make books!

  9. I have some of the purchased books from the Learning Program and they are very nicely done. It certainly saves ink and time...if you have the money. We were lucky to have them passed down to us!
