Hearts and Pom Poms

Today we worked with hearts and pom poms.  I found this cute heart templete at DLTK's website and Adeline added some pom poms.  This activity worked on eye hand coordination and fine motor skills.

Later Adeline placed pom poms on matching hearts.  I found these felt heart stickers at Target, added them to a piece of cardboard and we were ready for some matching.

  1. What cute Valentine's inspired fine motor activities. Though I do not want Miss K to grow up, I am looking forward to doing more of these types of activities with her. :)

  2. look at the concentration on her face - priceless. Love the matching pompoms and hearts, thats really clever using felt stickers too because they add a bit of friction so the pompoms are less likely to just roll away. I need to buy some pompoms

  4. Oh, these are wonderful! My son (20 mo) recently fell in love with pom poms...at least, with dumping them all over the floor! I wonder if he'd be ready for something like this?! Adeline is adorable--I love how focused she is! Thank you so much for linking up to Teach Me Tuesday -- I can't wait to see what you guys are up to next week!
