I think this was one of Adeline's favorite activities, she had fun with her magnetic stick. These little magnetic sticks are great! We picked ours up at a local teacher store but they also carry them on Amazon. I purchased some metal washers and we played "stick". This activity is a great fine motor tack that also works eye hand coordination. Bigger washers would also be good to add more weight.
Oh, do you see that pincher grasp! This activity was very motivating. We pulled them "off" after they were all "on". So much vocabulary can be used with these. We also talked about the circles.

I love it, but Little Miss D would be more interested in making a drum out of it! LOL!

ReplyDeleteAll kids LOVE the magnet stick. Adults too - for some reason I always want a turn with the magnet stick. I am the same way with bubbles - always have to take my turn haha!
